Hello! I’m so glad you’re here reading this ♥ I’m Ángela, a film and theater director with a deep love for storytelling, whether it’s on screen or stage.
As a director, I get to dive into my most creative and emotional side, collaborating with talented professionals to shape each project. I strive for naturalness and authenticity, exploring the emotions of characters to reflect them in the most compelling way.
Beyond directing, I’ve written numerous scenes, short films, and plays. I’ve also worked as an assistant director in advertising and directed events and livestreams, experiences that have sharpened my problem-solving skills and adaptability on set.
My natural curiosity leads me to appreciate various artistic disciplines like acting, music, and painting, which often inspire my approach to filmmaking and theater. I love communicating, and you might just find me on YouTube, Twitch, or performing on stage ;)
Directing is a thrilling adventure for me—watching every element of a project come together to create something unique is incredibly rewarding. What excites me most is telling stories that explore the complexities of human relationships and emotions. I love blending different genres and styles, and crafting stories with both naturalism and a strong aesthetic vision.
Comedy, in particular, is one of the most powerful tools I’ve found for storytelling, and it’s where I feel most at home as a writer. Right now, I’m diving deeper into the genre and I’m developing a comedy short film, a series, and a theater play.
